Jane and Elizabeth are both very confused and sad, but both for different reasons. Jane is sad and confused because she found out Mr. Bingley has left Netherfield and moved off to London never planning to come back. Elizabeth is sad and confused because her best friend betrays her by marrying the man who asked Elizabeth to marry her. Later at Christmas when the girls' aunt and uncle visit them Jane talks with her aunt who lives in London and it is decided that she will stay with her and try to win back Mr. Bingley. While Jane is gone Eliza is very lonely and she visits Charlotte at her new home. After several weeks of Jane trying to get in touch with the Bingley's. She gets in touch with Caroline Bingley and Caroline tells Jane to leave her brother alone. Will Jane listen to Caroline or will she continue trying to win back Mr. Bingley?
